Located in Misorano, this beautiful restaurant has become one of our new favourites. They offer an incredible 4 course lunch special which includes coffee for just JPY1,500 – a choice of Japanese or Western courses. Booking at least 1 day in advance is a must.  Such pretty décor, really quaint French style, amazingly friendly service, great value and most importantly incredible food.

Shouya Maruhachi

Maruhachi was a traditional farmhouse built in 1852, towards the end the Edo era, and was the former residence of the Yokosawa Family. The Yokosawa were originally from the neighboring Otari Village and a member of the “Otari 5″. Throughout the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras, Shouya Maruhachi was reconstructed and numerous times, and most recently in 2008. Serving delicious ramen, hotpot and tonkatsu ricebowl. Worth a visit just to admire the beautifully restored farmhouse complete with a traditional firepit.

Fresh, hand-cut soba dipped in tsuyu and slurped up with as much noise as you can muster – heavenly!  Not to forget the feather-light tempura morsels that melt in your mouth….. yes booking is required!

Ike

The owner, the wonderful ‘mamasan’, sources the daily ingredients from local farms and markets and serves a sumptuous set meal for dinner, reservations are required as the restaurant is tiny! (Located near the Co-op supermarket)

庄屋丸八本來是江戶時代興建的,是一戶當地富商,名為橫澤的私人住宅, 隨後不同的時代多次被改建,於2007 年得到國家的補貼進行了修復, 2008年12月起成為了國內及國外交流的場地。庄屋丸八至今都保留了大部份的原本建築, 建築的內部仍有很多原有的木造配套, 真是古色故鄉!

話說回來庄屋丸八是一家火鍋店, 晚上供應火鍋, 有豚肉香蔥Syabu syabu、 黃金骨膠原鍋 、當然還有我最愛的日式甜鍋Sukiyaki 等。下午時段庄屋丸八則供應蕎麥麵, 拉麵, 吉列豬扒定食等。

白馬八方温泉是無色透明的。性質偏鹼, 對肌膚比較溫和。

這溫泉對恢復疲勞, 神經痛, 筋肉痛,關節痛都好有幫助。

白馬八方温泉亦有美人之湯的稱號, 因為它的泉水令人的皮膚變得滑滑的。

白馬八方温泉有4個溫泉點 及2個足部浸浴的溫泉。

白馬鹽之道溫泉

白馬鹽之道溫泉是被岩層封鎖了2500萬年的溫泉, 泉水遇到空氣會變成褐色, 是很歷史悠久的溫泉。含有鈉, 氯化物的 炭酸水素鹽泉除了對恢復疲勞, 神經痛, 筋肉痛有幫助以外, 泉水內的鹽份很有保暖的效果, 特別推介給不耐寒體質的朋友。

Hakuba Katakuri Onsen

白馬Katakuri溫泉是弱鹼性低滲的溫泉,含有溫和的礦物質, 同事有保暖溫泉及美人之湯的好評。十郎の湯內設有食店及休息室。

4月至12月內每月16日入場費半價。

當然香港人最愛吃的壽司, 刺身等都不能忽視,今次想為大家介紹的是於當地很出名的壽司店ききょ屋（音讀Kikyo Ya）。

ききょ屋是一家很地道的壽司店, 為客人供應壽司,刺身,天婦羅,海鮮鍋等。由於食物新鮮味美, 價錢合理, 吸引了多遊客冒名而來, 坐上客不乏日本藝能界的名人, 如瑛太, 田中麗奈等。於店內的牆上有他們到此一遊的簽名呢。

老闆太田先生好客健談,知道我們是從香港來的,跟我們談天說地, 更拿出他的照片給我們閱覽。
